WebI've cast, bismuth, bismuth-tin and zinc, mostly into high-temperature silicone and plaster. I like the zinc for usable objects that don't shatter when you drop them. I'm looking for an alloy that lowers the melting point of zinc to protect my molds or perhaps make it even less brittle, without it getting too expensive.
