Web17 jul. 2006 · It turned out the Hynautics control block bolted to the side of the engine was loose. It would vibrate around and cause the engine speed to fluctuate. Tightened it up and presto, problem gone. The other issue is a possible air leak into the fuel system. The Cummins 330B engine is self-bleeding and will tolerate some air coming into the fuel line.
