We are coming from Buckinghamshire, overnight stop in Keswick, then driving from Keswick to Oban for 2 nights and taking the ferry to Mull for 1 day, exploring Oban other day. Then onto Glencoe for 1 night. Next Glencoe to Skye for 3 nights staying near Portree. WebApr 11, 2024 · July is into peak season for them but some parts of the island are more severely hit than others. Unfortunately, some of the loveliest spots are the worst though. One of the reasons I like Uig so much is that it is amongst the least infested part of the island, thanks to its more exposed, costal/breezy location but there are still some.
